Trewandra Farm
After a quick briefing, you know the one! the leader does not get off his bike unless he falls off, second man stops at the junction, second man opens the gate, third mans shuts the gate and we were off, first lane nice easy farm lane down through the woods, and out through the scrapyard.
  Wollaton
We rode a few more lanes, then everybodys eyes looked in disbelief as we disappeared across one of the top golf courses in the country, and no one can believe it is a right of way.

Clapper Bridge

Clapper Bridge always a favorite river ford, this rider has spotted a salmon in the river and decided not to let it get away. (thats what he said)

After crisscrossing the valley with another 5 or 6 lanes, we start heading towards the Tamar valley and the riverside village of Calstock, with its magnificent railway bridge.

  Morden

Morden and motocross tyres, not a good combination in the wet.

Dinnertime and fuel stop and then across the border into Devon. After a few more lanes it was the lane at Grenofen.

Grenofon
I went first and stopped halfway up to take photos, and then watched as the fun started.

Bowden Hill

Bowden Hill not many riders use this lane, it was overgrown and full of debris when we started using it about 3 years ago. But after a few trips clearing the rotting tree trunks and overgrown vegetation, it is now one of the best lanes we use.

Rest of the day went very well, getting the guys back to the digs in plently of time for a well derserved shower and a few pints to wash away the dust. We had travelled about 130 miles that day.

  Day 2

All day in Cornwall today, first lane a slippery farm lane followed by old road down to a beach, then a nice climb up an old lane,Several more good lanes.

Widegates
Widegates with its hairpin turns and steep climb is always a good lane.
  Muchlanick
Getting off and running alongside is sometimes the best way at Muchlanick.

Shillamill
The steps at the bottom of Shillamill proved to be a problem.
  Talland Bay
The view from the top of Talland Hill takes some beating. I had told the guys about a lane called Pink Panther and how difficult it could be in the wet.

Pink Panther

  Pink Panther

This is how the rest of us got up Pink Panther.

Everyone enjoyed themselves and promised to return see Guestbook for remarks.
